Hello readers! Now that the 2024 year has come to its end, it is time to unveil some of the authors on the leaderboard for most popular content. With genres ranging from romance to thrillers to historical fiction, we'll list some of the top picks from this last year.

Sara J. Maas has been one of the most up-and-coming
authors through the 2010s leading to this 2024 year. Appealing to audiences who are looking for a steamy, adventurous fantasy fix-her books do the trick every time. Her most popular novels were A Court of Thorns and Roses, Crescent City, and House of Flame and Shadow.

The top runner for "romantasy" and adult fiction was the one and only Rebecca Yarros. Her most popular novel, The Fourth Wing, sent fans wild for that "enemies-to-lovers" plot. She also has made herself a quite captivating presence on social media, especially on Tik Tok-where new young adult fiction novels can be discovered and thrive. Some of her other bestsellers were Ignite, Variation and Fire and Ice.

For our thriller category, David Baldacci checks all of the boxes. A one of a kind thriller story leaves their reader on the edge of their seat and that is something that Baldacci does very well. Revered for his Open Fire and A Calamity of Souls, his historical knowledge along with his storytelling abilities make it difficult to put his novels down.

The mystery genre is taken by storm with Chris Whitaker's new murder mystery called All the Colors of the Dark. As Whitaker has been up-and-coming throughout the 2010's until now, he has written a brilliant novel that conveys heroism and a love story. Some of his other novels are Tall Oaks, All the Wicked Girls, and We Begin at the End.

Taking the cake for the adult fiction and romance genre is Mrs. Ana Huang. Her novels such as Twisted Love, King of Pride, Wraith, Greed, etc. and The Striker all give audiences that sexy thrill. Her extremely detailed stories tell the journeys of women growing into themselves and finding who they want to be, while treating her readers to passionate and-sometimes mangled-love stories as well.
